A Journey of Forty Days

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God,in Him I will trust." (Ps. 91:1-2)

Thanks be to God for convicting the heart of his people to  continue the special communion with Him,called Ten Days to Easter. Several of those who started "The Ten days" dedicated prayer for revival  decided to go on and continue the journey of prayer with  fasting. Alas, it’s probing to be a heavenly encounter every time. God in His amazing way, touches heart. The night in prayer would not go away without tears and open confessions.Always, in their sincerest posture, lament   about their failure to please God. Their hearts geared toward living in holiness and pleasing God. We are on the 12th day and already ,the secret place is becoming more and more chamber of glorious blessedness. So sweet to abide under the shadow of the Almighty God.

One comforting thought is that we can confess our failure before God unashamedly, and felt His assurance and not His displeasure.The affirming "me to’s " bring comfort instead of condemnation. As a result of nightly confession,we feel like thoroughly washed and cleansed. We’re discovering the cleansing effect of broken confessions before the Lord Almighty.

We never agreed to come and conduct this "Fort Days of Prayer". We only announced that those who feel God is calling them to pray, after the conclusion of "Ten Days To Easter",may come in the church basement and pray…not knowing who would show up ! Several had showed up and keep on showing up until this day. They are discovering the holiness of "the secret place of the Most High God".

God is in the midst of them. They heard and believe His promise, "He shall call upon me,and I will answer him"(v.15). They are willing to pay the price, the price of waiting for His mighty visitation we called revival.They are willing to stand in the gap. Oh, that the Lord will have mercy and raise up  more prayer warriors who will  bear the cause of the kingdom,praying that God will again, flash His glory upon this nation and around the world. To restore the fear of God in hearts of people and that praise be found again in the lips of man.

May the Spirit of the Living God fall upon us during this journey.Amen Lord.
