Rogie and Leila met 2002, through mutual friends- Marchesa was friends with Perze and Perze with Leila.  This photo was Rog & Lei’s first picture together, having been the day they met at our church, during a youth event called BASIC.

Five years later, and several of Rogie’s hairstyles later, he popped the question to Leila on the 2nd year anniversary of her mother’s death, as a promise to her memory. 

So now, we’re so excited to inform all our members via website, that this beloved couple of our church is now officially engaged!  Congrats to them, and our prayers go out for their preparation as they take on greater roles to come as husband and wife.
