Praise God for the blessings from Psalms Night last Saturday.  Songs- both favorites and originals were performed, and its origins were given, all culminating in a night saturated with music.  We hope that the Worship Ministry will continue with more musical nights, praising God through songs.

Again, Happy Mother’s Day to all our mothers, and even to the beloved wives of SJBCI. 

Last Sunday, the men of our church rendered, although chaotic, a loving song for their wives/mothers.  The pictures can now be viewed in the SJBCI.org PHOTO GALLERY, under Resources.

The Worship Ministry wants to invite everyone to join them in a night of worship through music May 19, Saturday night at 6:30pm.  Come to enjoy praise and worship, songs performed by some of our members, and come to hear original compositions.  Let’s glorify our great God through our offering of songs.

We continue to better the order of our Worship Service.  We wanted a more vibrant and longer participation of worshippers to on-going Worship.  New adjustments/changes shall be initated.  We’ll see how these will add dynamism to our Worhsip and glorify God more through His Son Jesus.

Members and church leaders are encouraged to come and join this “Until Midnight Prayer Rally”.  Thrice a year, we conduct this kind of gathering.  The purpose is clear, just as Christ spent a lot of times in prayer, even until morning in some instances, we too, would like to follow that example in communion with our Heavenly Father.  Occasion like this shows our ardent desire to seek the will and favor of God in accomplishing His will.  Let’s be together on this.

 Rogie and Leila met 2002, through mutual friends- Marchesa was friends with Perze and Perze with Leila.  This photo was Rog & Lei’s first picture together, having been the day they met at our church, during a youth event called BASIC.

Five years later, and several of Rogie’s hairstyles later, he popped the question to Leila on the 2nd year anniversary of her mother’s death, as a promise to her memory. 

So now, we’re so excited to inform all our members via website, that this beloved couple of our church is now officially engaged!  Congrats to them, and our prayers go out for their preparation as they take on greater roles to come as husband and wife.
