April 6: Good Friday

We will have two films to show. Film shoring will start at 6pm @ SJBCI Building. Invite your friends and neighbors to join us.

First Film: Prophecy On Israel
Second film: The End of the Spear

prophecy of israelThe Prophecy of Israel: a one-hour made-for-TV documentary shot entirely on location in Israel. It reveals an astounding historical journey that begins over 3000 years ago with the reign of King David and King Solomon and recounts key historical events which unfolded in that land from those early times through the present day.

It dramatically weaves into this historical journey “The Prophecy of Israel”, written centuries ago by Israel’s prophets of old. Alexander Scourby beautifully narrates these prophecies from the Bible. You then discover how these prophecies are being fulfilled in modern day Israel and the Middle East. Just 100 years ago, none of these prophecies were fulfilled and the prospects of them ever being fulfilled seemed impossible. Yet today, many of these prophecies have been fulfilled and many more are being fulfilled right before our eyes.

End of the Spear: “And the truth of the story is this: God had a Son who was speared so that we all might know forgiveness. Mincayani and the Waodani learned this when Nate Saint’s sister Rachel, along with two of the widows and their children, moved into the Waodani village in the wake of their loved ones’ deaths. It was through their witness that much of the tribe converted to Christianity. And it’s through the harrowing experience of two men as told in End of the Spear—Steve Saint and Mincaye, now as close as father and son—that moviegoers can learn the power of forgiveness and reconciliation.” -L.Cockrel from Christianity Today
