Theme Beginning April:
The Church in Today’s Trouble World

The Pastor has prepared a series of messages about the flight of the church today- how the church is coping up and how believers can keep their sanity in tact.  In this study, we will see how REVIVAL can possibly come to infuse life to God’s people.

Newport News Virginia:
Pastor Ding and some church leaders attended an evangelistic worship service last Sunday in VA.  About 20-30 (mostly Filipinos) people started a fellowship about 3 years ago and Pastor Ding has been asked to give the message on their first worship service. 

Choir Practice: SATURDAY, April 4 @ 2pm:
Mandatory practice for Easter Concert.  Prepare for a long practice.  We have 3 practices left.  Please commit your time this week to listen and really familiarize yourself w/ the songs.

April 3-12: Ten Days to Easter:
This is a call from the church.  We have to prepare ourselves fully in seeking the face of God in favor of revival in our times.  Fasting is for those who are willing to let go of their lunch and pray instead.  The prayer gathering will be in the church and will start at 7pm.  One hour of praying to God is the barest minimum we can offer together.

April 11: East To West Easter Concert:
SJBCI annual concert will be held on Saturday, April 11 @ 6:30pm.  Please continue to invite your friends and family for an opportunity to listen and share in an evening of celebration and contemplation.  For more information regarding this event, see right side module containing promotional banner.

Summit 1: Principles and Mechanics of Preaching:
Church leaders and Baptist Men w/ Pastor’s discipleship Group are hereby reminded about this whole day of training.  This training is set of April 18, beginning at 9am.  Lunch will be served.
