Carino, Cliff is a loving, compassionate, kind and caring person. God used him as an instrument for me to know the LORD. Cliff has great desire and passion to serve the LORD and prays for people he loves. With my husband’s relentless prayers, I was saved through Christ and changed into a person that GOD wanted me to be. I am a wife of a prayerful husband.  (Written by his wife…)

Cosico, Danny is my father AND hero. Aside from combating my mom’s incessant rants about financial issues, he is still able to be a great father and understanding husband, a very intelligent man who enjoys watching sports like boxing, basketball, football, and movies (although half of the time he ends up falling asleep).  Danny Cosico is also a cyborg because he works two jobs just to keep his son in college.  He is also a very loyal servant of God, working as a deacon at SJBCI.  I can surely say that I am proud of my father and who he has become.  Although not the perfect father, he’s the greatest dad I know. Oh, he’s also a glutton; he indulges in a significant amount of food, and after he eats, he thinks about what to eat for his next meal (true story). (Written by his eldest son…)

DeLeon, Procopio has several times, been referred to as their “unofficial” dad.  His slow temper, gentle nature, and eagerness to heal a hurt & right a wrong suited him to be good father figure to those that didn’t have one.  A lot of my family, SJBCI members, and his work colleagues mention how privileged I am to have him as my “official” Dad. Now—when I look back at all the times he’s been serving the Lord, providing for his family, or even just preparing a nice meal because I had nothing to eat—I know that I am truly blessed to have Procopio De Leon as my father. Guevarra, Domingo is a pastor to most, but a father to me. I can always count on him, whether it be a Coldstone run or a quick visit to Philly when I’m sick. I normally don’t get his humor but we always share a good laugh either at a show we’re watching or his attempt on a British accent. God worked through him to lead me to faith in Jesus. I am blessed with a father that continues to teach me the meaning of love, respect, honesty and making sacrifices through his words and actions. He is one of the most humble servants of God I know, often times, his work goes unnoticed for those who are not familiar with the work in the church. I am 21 turning 22 and I’ve been able to see a different perspective of the man I’ve always known. He loved us, he punished us, he provided for us and above all things, he made sure that we were brought up in the training and instruction of the Lord. As a child, I hated being told that I look like him because it made me think that I look manly! But now, if I grew up to be half of what he became, I’ll consider myself very blessed. I may not enjoy the role of a pastor’s daughter but I am very, very proud to be Ding Guevarra’s daughter. (written by his eldest daughter…)

Serna, Iman was born & raised in the Philippines.  He moved to States with his family at the age of 18.  In 2001 he relocated to Oklahoma and became a cowboy.  Well, not exactly a cowboy, but he now owns a shotgun and a large belt buckle.  After working for Destiny Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for 2 years, he was named the Community Pastor in August of 2008.  His favorite things include being with his wife & son, creating relationships with people and more recently, riding his motorcycle.  Above all else, being in the middle of God’s will has given him a peace that surpasses anything the world could ever offer.  I think he would highly recommend it!  (Written by his wife…)
